WARNING: DO NOT EAT!! Slime is not edible or safe to consume at any point. We DO use borax in our slime. Please do not put slime in mouth or eyes and wash your hands before and after each use.

CHOKING HAZARD: Small parts not made for children 3 years and under. Please supervise children playing with slime that are 5 years and under. We, Optimist Slime, are not responsible for any damages from negligence or improper use of our products ⚠️

Returns, refunds, & Exchanges

All orders are final sale. Due to the handmade nature of the products, returns and exchanges are NOT accepted for the health and safety of our company and our customers. Even if the slime is unopened, we still cannot accept it. Please contact us if you have any problems with your order within 48 hours from the arrival of package and we will do everything in our power to help. 

We DO NOT issue returns or replacements for slimes that become over-activated at no fault of our own. We do provide a small baggie of borax powder as a courtesy to you if your slime becomes too sticky over time, so you may have the proper tools to fix it. Please see your Slime Care card included in your package for instructions on how to troubleshoot your slime.

Cancellations/refunds will not be accepted once an order has been shipped. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to optimist.slimecompany@gmail.com.

Shipping Policy/Help

Important note: Shipping costs are non-refundable. We highly recommend you purchase Route shipping insurance, as Optimist Slime is not responsible for any lost, stolen, and/or damaged packages. 

Q: When will my order ship and how long will it take to get here?

A: Our general processing time is 4-7 business days but can change to 5-8 business days with larger restocks of 12+ slimes. We ship from Mon-Sat but not on Sundays. Once your order has shipped, domestic packages will take an additional 4-7 days to arrive. You should receive your package 10-14 days after placing your order or sometimes sooner. You will also receive an email with a tracking number to check on transit at any time. If you did not receive an email with a tracking number, please contact us at  optimist.slimecompany@gmail.com and we will provide that to you. 

 

Q: Where is my order?? 

A: Please check the tracking number provided in your shipping email confirmation. If the status shows "Label Created, Not Yet In System" it means that your package is being/has been dropped off and is waiting to be scanned by the mail carrier. If you cannot find your email with your tracking number, please contact us immediately and we will resend it. You can reach us at optimist.slimecompany@gmail.com

 

Q: What should I do if my order is lost, damaged, or stolen?

A: We will provide you with a tracking number to help you monitor when your shipment will be delivered. We are not responsible for any incorrect addresses given by the customer or any packages that are stolen after delivery. We DO recommend that you add Route Package Protection at checkout in order to efficiently file for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Q: My slime was damaged during shipping. Can you help?

A: Please email us at optimist.slimecompany@gmail.com with your order number and a picture of the damaged slime and we will glady help (:

 

Q: I received the wrong slime. What do I do?

A: Please email us at optimist.slimecompany@gmail.com with details and a photo of the incorrect slime and we will gladly help (:

 

Q: My package was returned to sender. What now?

A: When packages get sent back to us, it is usually an address-related issue. If your package is international, it's usually due to a customs-related issue, such as not passing certain regulations or having little/invalid information. Once we receive your package, you will be refunded for the slimes purchased, unless already discussed otherwise with the shop owner. You will be notified immediately when this happens.

Please note: Shipping costs WILL NOT and CANNOT be refunded. Please double check that you have the correct address during checkout in order to ensure that your shipment makes it to you.

We are not responsible for any additional shipping charges or taxes due.
